The Twisted Branch Tea Bazaar has been serving fine loose leaf teas 
and spreading the wisdom of Tea Culture since 2002. Located on the historic downtown walking mall in Charlottesville, VA. It is convenient to the outdoor Pavilion, the Paramount theater and several other historic and notable locations.
The Tea Bazaar is inspired by travels to far reaching tea countries. Inside you will find teak pillars and carved wooden hangings imported from India. The Tea Menu offers a seasonal selection of over 40 teas from around the world.
All of our teas our steeped by the pot and can be purchased loose leaf by the ounce. Tea aficionados can often find additional and unlisted featured teas behind the bar(just ask!) . A wide variety of tea ware is available for home brewing and gifts.
This eclectic Bohemian venue caters to a diverse clientele. While enjoying a pot of carefully crafted tea, you can enjoy a view of the Downtown Mall from the Japanese Tatami area, cozy up on one of our couches or find your niche on the private patio out back.
We feature a full service food menu slanted towards middle eastern and vegetarian tastes, a wide variety of homemade deserts, international and local wines and ales and host Charlottesville’s only Hookah Bar.
By day, the Tea Bazaar is a peaceful place to study or converse. 
When evening falls, the pace picks up and the Teahouse becomes one of Charlottesville’s most interesting performance venues. Check our event schedule for details.

Take W.Main towards downtown.
Cross the Ridge St. intersection, keeping the Lewis and Clark statue to your right. The road splits into Water St. and South Street at this intersection. Take the left hand part of the split, which is Water Street. Find parking! The downtown mall is one block to the north of Water Street. The Tea Bazaar is located on the 400 Block of the mall.
From 64 East:
Take Exit 121. Turn right at the end of the exit ramp. Continue down this road (Monticello Ave.) for several miles until you reach a T-intersection. This is the intersection of Ridge and Monticello. Take a right. At the next intersection take a right on to Water Street (there are two ight hand turns you can take as the road splits here, so take the furthest away right hand turn). Find parking! The downtown mall is one block to the north of Water Street. The Tea Bazaar is located on the 400 Block of the mall.
From 64 West:
